Give ‘em XML

so im definitely leavin xanga for my creative entries, and this blog for my other “autobiographical” entries. I’m tryin to get a new layout for my xanga, don’t know what just yet. i was playin with some pics, tryin out some stuff. we’ll see. as for the layout of this site, i have plans, and they involve Flash and XML. but first i must study them and undserstand how they can comingle. Also i have to remember all my programming classes so i can use ActionScript 2.0. it’ll be hot once im done, i hope.

Saturday was the wedding in NY. it was long. lotsa prayers and messages and songs and prayers and speaking and prayers. amazingly, with the 4 hours of sleep per night that i’d been having, i stayed awake throughout the ceremony. there were over 900 attendees. the reception was alright, but with all those people everyone was spread out and i couldn’t see the slideshow, and it was aright. if i have that many people im gonna plan it right so its more feasable to see everything and everyone.

We got home around 7/7:30 that evening. I had planned to meet the Best Buy crew at Red Robin, and then go watch Starsky & Hutch. We were supposed to meet at 630, but fortunately they ran late, and i made it just as the table was called. we ate and got to the theater and every showing was sold out until 1030, and most of them had to get up for 6AM shifts the next mornin, so we deliberated for about 30 minutes. We had the choices of seeing another movie, buying tickets for another movie and sneak into the 945 S&H, or jsut fogedboudit and go home. Finally we decided to watch the 1030 showing. it was funny. i liked it.

In my rush to leave home that night i tripped over Nicole. she fell and i twisted my leg a bit, but no injuries. Well, almost no injuries. Nicole became verry out of tune, and tuning her with her FLoyd Rose Trem is difficult, but worth it. There was one casualty, the cable running from nicole to my pedalboard became bent at nicole’s end. i tried to bend it back, but it doesnt work. i checked the connections under the sleeve, and they are connected, so it’s the lead it self. No worries, i have another cable, it’s not angled like the old one which would have been easier, but it does the trick.

back to my study in XML. or just a whole lotta nuttin til 10ish.
